# Rotating Your Merchant GUID

Follow these steps to rotate your Merchant GUID on ShopWare. All steps start in your store admin.

  **Before you start**

  * Have your new Merchant GUID to hand.
  * Your Merchant ID does not change.
  * Questions? Contact your Global-e account manager.

## Steps

  <Step title="Open your store admin">
    Go to your store admin.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open your extensions">
    Go to **Extensions → My Extensions**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure the extension">
    Find **Global-e Cross-Border** and press **Configure**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Update the GUID">
    Under **Global-e API Settings**, update the **Merchant GUID**.
  </Step>
